The latest edition of RLM’s popular enterprise software brings a range of new and expanded process visibility and management improvements designed to help clients manage every aspect of their fashion and related businesses.
Lyndhurst, NJ – March 20, 2014 — RLM Apparel Software Systems Inc., software solutions provider to the fashion industry’s biggest and brightest brands, announces significant new and expanded process visibility and other advancements in the latest release of its flagship FashionManagerTM enterprise software solution. Improvements to the fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Warehouse Management System (WMS), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and Financials and Enterprise Reporting solution are designed to drive benefits across the entire concept-to-consumer fashion lifecycle.
According to RLM Vice President of Product Development and Partner Rick Lynn, “As fashion companies work to reduce cycle times and costs across their business and supply chain, we are equipping FashionManager to help them better identify and control the processes and exceptions that can cause delays and increase costs. Whether it be through simple techniques for saving time and reducing errors or advanced notifications and business reporting that can save the day, we are committed to bringing our clients the most capable systems available.”
Examples of the new and extended visibility and control features built into the latest edition of FashionManager include:
Design Style Master
FashionManager can now store a photo as well as a sketch in the Design or Style Master. All report forms have also been updated to allow users to display either the sketch or the photo when running a report.
Bill of Materials
FashionManager can now be configured to automatically send email notifications and alerts when changes or updates are made to the Bill of Materials (BOM).
Production Order Cut to Demand
A new Cut to Demand feature in FashionManager reduces keying errors by automatically generating lines on the Production Order to cover Sales Order Bookings Demand by warehouse ship-to location.
Cutting Activities and Consumption
FashionManager can also alert managers when a cutting has been against a style. New inquiries and reports can also show estimated vs. actual consumption in the cutting process.
Warehouse and Distribution
To track and manage warehousing and distribution processes, email alerts can also be set to identify when finished goods are received, a Return Authorization (RA) has been received, or available Universal Product Codes (UPC) fall
below the 1000 level. New daily email registers can also keep managers informed of all receivings for the prior day, pick tickets that are left open and pick tickets that shipped the prior day.
FashionManager clients are encouraged to contact their RLM customer service with any questions regarding these features.
